A small municipality just west of Kitchener-Waterloo, the Township of Wilmot has been a client of HR Systems Strategies for over a decade. Initially purchasing info:HR for 200 employees with an interface to the Easypay payroll system, within two years they increased their license limit to 300 employees, and it now stands at 400.
In 2016 they purchased ESS and Timesheets modules. They found ESS was easy to implement and really helped save a lot of time. Instead of entering all attendance manually, the HR manager simply has to audit the entries made by employees and approved by management. Supervisors are able to manage their employees’ timekeeping in a more efficient manner, reducing the probability of errors. The system naturally creates audit checks – employees are responsible for entering time and managers for approving, from there they simply need to audit the hours entered.
Township of Wilmot also leverages the payroll interface – transferring basic employee data, as well as attendance records – removing the need for manual data entry in the payroll system.
